kolibri: high-repetition rate, uJ, fs source

The kolibri is a pulse compressor that is placed into the beam path of a suitable pump laser and emits ultrashort (sub 40 fs) pulses around 1 um. Underlying technology is coherent pulse broadening in a gas-filled, Hollow-Core Photonic Crystal Fibre and subsequent compression. Pulse energies are on the 10s of uJ level with repetition rates up to MHz. System architecture is very similar to our deep UV light source (toucan). A seperate box incl pulse compression elements is required (not shown in the figure above).
